For Chris' birthday today, we took a family hike above Cades Cove in the Smokys, and then went downtown for dinner at the Melting Pot. It was a very nice day, and as you can see from the pictures, there was still some color left in the trees.

Happy Birthday, Chris. It looks like you had a beautiful day. We spent the day in Lincoln. Bill went to the football game, UNL vs. KU, with Chris, and I spent the day with Kathy Nehe. The weather was cold and windy. I didn't think I could handle the game. Your pictures are beautiful. All our leaves fell at about the same time so it wasn't a particularly colorful fall.
